This policy explains what personal data the alexvas.me website collects, why, how it is stored, and what rights you have.

1. Who processes your data

The controller of personal data is Alexander Vasyliev, an independent developer who runs the alexvas.me website (hereinafter “I”).

2. What data I collect

Data you provide yourself:

• through the form on the website: your name, a contact for reaching you (Telegram, phone, or email), and a description of your task;
• when you write to me on Telegram or by email: the data you include in your message.

Data collected automatically:

• technical data: IP address, browser and device type, time of the request. It may be kept in server and Cloudflare logs for security and stable operation of the website and is not used for any other purpose;
• data about how you use the website through cookies and analytics tools (see section 5), only with your consent, where the law of your country requires it.

I do not collect payment data through the website and do not ask you to provide sensitive information (health, beliefs, etc.). Please do not include it in the form.

3. Why I use the data

• to reply to your request, estimate the task, and agree on cooperation;
• to carry out the work if we agree on it;
• to protect the website and the form from spam and abuse;
• to understand how the website and advertising perform and to improve them (analytics: only with consent, where it is required).

I do not sell your data and do not use it for mailings without your separate consent.

4. Legal grounds

• your consent: when you submit the form or agree to cookies;
• preparing and performing a contract: when you contact me about work;
• legitimate interest: protecting the website from spam and abuse.

Processing is carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, for visitors from the European Union, also in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

5. Cookies and analytics

The website may use:

• necessary cookies: to make the website work and to remember your cookie choice;
• Google analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics / Google Ads): to see how many people come from advertising and whether they get in touch. For visitors from the EU, these cookies are enabled only after you consent in the banner.

You can change your choice in the cookie banner (Cookie settings) or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. Who the data is shared with

To run the website I use services that may process your data on my behalf:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): the server the website runs on and where requests are stored;
• Cloudflare, Inc.: website protection and acceleration, email forwarding;
• Telegram: form requests reach me as a Telegram message;
• Brevo (France): sending emails with requests to my inbox;
• Google: email (Gmail) and analytics / advertising (with consent).

Some of these companies may process data outside Ukraine and the EU (including in the USA). They apply their own data protection mechanisms in accordance with their privacy policies.

I do not share your data with anyone else, except where required by law.

7. How long data is stored

• requests and correspondence: up to 2 years after the last contact, or longer if we work together and it is needed to carry out the work;
• technical data in server logs: no longer than 30 days;
• analytics data: up to 14 months according to Google Analytics settings.

After that, the data is deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• find out what data of yours I store and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your data;
• restrict processing or object to it;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal);
• file a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, if you are in the EU, with the data protection authority of your country.

9. Security

The website works over a secure connection (HTTPS). Only I have access to requests. No method of transmitting data over the internet is completely secure, but I take reasonable measures to protect it.

I may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page, and the update date is shown at the top.
